The Shirley Jaffe Foundation is dedicated to the preservation, research, publication, and dissemination of the artistic work of Shirley Jaffe. We support and initiate projects that align with this purpose.
A primary focus currently is the development of a comprehensive Catalogue Raisonné of her work. This foundational and longterm project will result in a publicly accessible, comprehensive record of all artworks created by Shirley Jaffe. The project supports scholarly research, public access, and a deeper understanding of Jaffe’s contribution to exploratory and abstract art.
In parallel with this work, the Foundation promotes education and opportunity through charitable giving, scholarships, educational programs, and partnerships with public charities and community-based initiatives. By supporting emerging artists and expanding access to art education, the Shirley Jaffe Foundation seeks to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and foster lasting appreciation for innovative art.
